Sherman Pink Brooch & Earrings HUGE

This is the largest Sherman brooch we've ever had the pleasure to own. Measuring an enormous 4 1/2", there isn't an outfit it can get lost on. Even the earrings are super-sized at 1 1/2" in length and 3/4" in width. The set is two layers of solid pink Swarovski crystals in various marquise cut sizes. The plating is in excellent condition on all three pieces and the signature on the clips is immediately evident as it is on the rectangular plate bearing the signature on the brooch. Someone etched three numbers on the plating below the signature but that is the only item of note. The stones appear gorgeous to the naked eye but as we always take out our 10X loupe and check our items thoroughly, a few stones in the brooch have some very minor spotting but we could find no chips. One earring has a tiny chip to one marquise cut rhinestone and two have the very tip showing some darkening. The other earring has only one stone with a tip slightly darkened. Without a loupe, none of these flaws would be evident and as these items are over 25 years old, one cannot expect them to be perfect. This is a stunning set that is sure to get alot of wear during the upcoming party season.
