Victoria Taxco Mexico Sterling Brooch

Lovely Aztec/Mayan design by Ana Nunez de Brilanti's shop, Victoria, is in wonderful condition with no dents or dings and just the kind of minor scraches you would expect from something worn often but well cared for in between. This sterling silver brooch is 1 1/2" high and weighs 8 grams. Hallmarked on the back with an eagle 3, the inventory number 107, Victoria, Taxco, Mexico and Sterling, there is no doubt about the authenticity of this piece. Ana Nunez de Brilanti, one of the original Taxco artists, closed her shop in 1975.
