Vintage Christian Dior Germany Bakelite Bangle Bracelet

How often does one find a vintage Christian Dior bracelet? This has been in one of our personal collections since the 90s but it's now time to let someone else enjoy this marvelous bangle. Since the bracelet did test positive with simichrome (results are in our photos), it's not French Bakelite. However, we could not get a definable aroma from it but do get a clunk ;-). Therefore, we can't guarantee it to be 100% bakelite so our price reflects that. It is signed on an applied plaque: 19c70 Chr Dior Germany. There is a goldtone cable running in a recessed part of the bracelet which shows slight wear on the high points of the cable. There is also a VERY minor interior crack which does not affect the integrity of the piece. It's a gorgeous butterscotch color which will take you through all seasons. The inside opening is 2 5/8" and the bangle is 1/4" thick and almost 3/4" wide. Christian Dior bracelets are tough enough to find but this style is the only one we've seen in 5 years of searching for a comparable. You could be getting a steal!
