This wonderful 10 1/4" by 8 3/8" and almost 7/8" deep this handpainted art work shows four birds in a wood unfinished frame and is in excellent condition. The birds are shown in relief in beautiful coloring and detail. I believe it dates to the 1940's to 1950's and made in Japan although it has no signature or marking. Additional photos on request. This unusual bottle of ink is in it's original box with all German writing. Marked W. Germany this bottle dates from 1949 until 1990. This obviously was not meant to be exported. Box measures 2 1/8" high, 2 1/8" wide and a tad under 2 3/8 deep. All is in pristine condition. Paper on bottle top has come unglued but all there. Box is in like new condition.
