This pristine compote also known as a comport was made at the turn of the 19th century by Imperial Glass in the Nu-Cut Star #91/555. It stands a tad over 4 1/2" high with a bowl 5 3/8" across. Foot is almost 3 1/2" across. Condition is pristine with no chips, cracks, nips, bites, scratches, repairs or other damage. Glass is very shiny. All teeth at the belled top and base are excellent. Pattern (or Pressed) glass cruet was made by the Boston Silver Glass Co of East Cambridge, MA who patented it May 11, 1888. It is named Beaded Mirror and also known as Beaded Medallion. Boston and Sanwich Glass Co of Sanwich, MA also made this pattern. Stopper is in excellent, undamaged, condition. Mould roughness as expected. I have only one of the hard to find circa 1900 green with gold flashing cups available. This was made by the U S Glass Co and named U.S. Rib but is also know as New York. Condition is excellent with expected wear on the gold around the rim and on the bottom. Nice old piece. No other damage like chips, cracks, nips or repairs. Additonal photos on request. What a deal! This early american press/pattern glass cruet with beautiful original, undamaged, stopper was made by the Westmoreland Glass Company in the 1900's is in the seldom seen Paddle Wheel pattern. There is one flaw made during the cooling at the factory. This looks like a crack but has been closely examined under jewelers loupe and is not damaged. Additonal photos upon request. This perfect punch cup was made by Northwood in the Memphis pattern also known as (aka) Doll's Eye in 1908. Northwood is known for making carnival glass. They did make some clear crystal items and this is one of them. Measuring more than 2 1/2" high 4 3/16 across the bowl it is large. The top is belled and the handle is fancier than most. Pattern is deep and clear.
