Offered today is a perfect juice pitcher standing 6 1/4" high. Condition is perfect with gold being bold and bright as is the coloring that goes with todays (and tomorrows) kitchen decor. No damage to note. This is listed in my reference book as being made by the West Virginia Glass Specialty Co., Inc. in 1952. WV Glass called this their number 881 with bright gold trim. This vintage, 1948-1954, cream pitcher was made by the Porsgrund Porcelain Factory in Porsgrunn, Norway. It is made of hard paste porcelain, has a light grey body with nice decals of fall foilage (poppy?) on both sides with hand painted dark brown trim. All are without chips, cracks, nips, bites, or repairs with very, very, very, minor wear. Glaze is smooth and unmarred. Measuring about 7" inches long "as the crow flies" and almost 4 3/4" high is this vintage, unique wood cork screw probably from the 1950's era. It has a shellac type preservative on the surface making it quite a show piece. No chips, cracks, other damage. When I found it itwas quite dusty. This unique 1940's meat fork is in excellent condition measuring 8 5/8" long from the Bakelite handle to the clean 2 1/2" wide tines. This meat fork was meant to hold meat while it was being carved. Bakelite handle is nice darker yellow with some swirling shows no chips, scratches, cracks, repairs or other damage. Finish is shiney. One tine shows a tiny, tiny spot where finish is gone. This Treasure Craft 1950's cookie jar is made in the shape of a suguaro cactus with a large blossom on top. Standing 13" high with lid it is large and heavy.
