These cups and saucers were made from 1891 to 1902 stamped Doulton Burslem England in the Nankin pattern. Each cup is 3 1/2" across w/o handle (almost 4 3/8" w/handle)2 1/8" high. One cup is undamaged, other has a teeny, tiny rim chip. Age crazing on all pieces as expected. All five additional saucers have no damage except age crazing as stated previously. This wonderful powder jar (box)stand about 3 1/2" high (including handle) and 4 1/2" across. No chips, cracks, scratches, nips, bites or other damage except wear showing on the inside of the lid where it fits over the lip of the box. The lid I believe to be possibly Bakelite. The knob needs a spacer to hold it tight. Bottom is stamped in black Germany. Color is strong with glaze in excellent condition inside and out. Additional photos on request. Offered today are cup and saucer sets, circa 1900, stamped in green: M Z Austria with crown above a bird. Cups are 4 1/2" across including handle. Saucers are 5 5/8" across. One cup has rim roughness that is felt and not seen. One other cup has two areas that are nicks of the smallest nature. Offered for you pleasure is a set consisting of a signed Fragonard (Pierre) Courting Couple brooch and matching screw back earring. Gold setting has no marks so nature of material is unknown. No breakage such as chips, cracks or repairs. They are vintage from the 1950's. Brooch measures 1 5/8" long by 1 1/4" wide. Earrings are 5/8" long by a tad more than 1/2" wide. Settings are strong.
