I believe this teapot was made by Bennington Pottery in the 1800's. Standing 8 1/2" high including the nice dome top it is quite an impressive piece. The spout has been shortened but can be professionaly replaced to make it a "keeper". It also has a chip on the rim that the top sits in and a chip on the lid portion that sits in the pot. I am offering a very hard to find open eyed Smiley Pig planter made by Shawnee Pottery in excellent condition. He stands 4 1/2" high.No chips, cracks, paint damage, repairs or other damage. Two areas on the front and back of his left foot has no grey paint. This was done during manufacturing as glaze totally covers the area.
