This wonderful piece of framed art is of what seems to be a lone clipper ship against the ruddy night sky just after sunset, and is set in a fabulous textured antique gold leaf frame. This work of art is an original colored pencil and is in very good condition for its age. There are a few minor dings to the right hand side of the frame and a small blemish on the upper right side, and the original paper backing is a bit worn( see enlargements). This fabulous still life is from France, and has a french caption at the bottom that reads: "A Paris Chez Vilquin Md. Estampes Grande Cour Du Palais Du Tribunat No. 20". This wonderful print has a lovely subject of what appears to be winter fruit. It is framed in a very nice dark wood frame that has a cherry glow to it. This is a great picture, with a great scene. It features a Pagoda situated near the water and a wooded area. It measures 13 1/4 in. long. It is in it's original frame and is in excellent condition. It is signed Uchida and was originally given as a holiday gift. ~Enjoy!

This is a wonderful and mysterious example of the Reverse Painting technique. It features a man on horse back with lots of red, green and blue plumes. At the top of the picture it has a gold banner that reads: "Anguienus Dux, Indorum Rex", which after research talks about a duke and a king or a duke becoming a king. This is a very captivating piece of art, and has a Neo Classical feel about it. It just exudes richness. This picture has a serene feeling to it. Just imagine the light breeze as you stroll through the sceenery. It is a pastel watercolor behind glass. It measures 19 1/2 in. wide and 17 in. high. It is in magnificent shape and is signed by an artist whom I can't quite make out. This work of art would look great in a sunroom or a brightly lit bath or kitchen. Enjoy!

This print of a cat watching a mouse is timeless. It reminds me of the Tom and Jerry cartoon. It is a nice sized framed print done in what almost appears to be reverse painting. It measures 16 1/4 in. wide and 20 1/2 in. high. There is no wire for hanging this print and there is a few flecks of paint missing from the picture which is hardly noticeable. It is signed in the lower right hand corner Droguett. These two play cat and mouse in our ~Merry Menagerie~ Enjoy!
