This is a very nice cigarette box that is from Portugal. It features a male deer or stag on the front with two fawn. In the background you can see the mountains. This very sweet old Boncilla powder tin has a hummingbird on the front with morning glories. It has a dark color with green wavy lines. On the back it features a female figure which appears to be from the 20's thru 30's with the words Toillette Powder. This tin shows some slight wear due to age and use. Talk about a lovely little piece for the vanity. This little box is gold ormolu with a bold gold medallion on the top under a glass lid, depicting a courtship scene. Romance drips from every turn as you open it up to the creamy velvet base on the inside. It measures 4 in. in diameter, and 3 in. tall. This box has small issues, the velvet in the inside is a little faded, and there are little tarnish areas around the circular box, that may be removed(see enlargements). This silver metal trinket box is round and has a carved relief finish. You can feel the details and dimensions of this box.
