This wonderful old souvenir box is from Canon City, Colorado. It is done with the pyrography style, where the design is burned into the wood using a hot metal rod. It features a colored rose on the front with the city and state of origin. It measures 4 1/2 in. long, 4 1/4 in. wide and 2 1/4 in. tall. On the inside lid there is a star with a red felt lined area for your little trinkets. This lidded box has all its original hardware and is in wonderful condition for the age.
