This wonderful teapot is by the very popular maker Wedgwood. It is the Wellesley pattern in creamware and is in excellent condition. There is wear from age on the bottom, but there are no chips, breaks, or cracks anywhere on this piece. Very nice object to add to your collection. ~Enjoy!
This sweet little Mulberry transferware plate is by Ridgeways of England and is inn the pattern Tyrolean. This bread and butter plate measures 6 in. in diameter. There is some crazing on this piece due to age and use, which I think gives it lovely character. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. Circa 1800's. ~Enjoy!
This very pretty piece is from the Victorian Era and was used by the ladies of the house that had a fondness for tobacco. This piece is of porcelain china and has a wonderful springy floral transferware print. The flowers appear to be pansies, and sweet pea. They are by the Kensington Company or England and are of the series Shakespear Sonnets, and are marked on the back (see enlargement). This very study platter is made by the English Company Wedgwood of Etruria of Barlaston. It has a moss or sage green center, with a ivory rim. It measures 14 3/4 in. X 11 1/2 in. It is marked on the back and # 2k61, and is in excellent condition. Perfect to serve a holiday ham on. ~Enjoy!
