This is a very handsome example of a Tang horse. He is numbered on the bottom 009. This example is taken from the war horses used by the First Emperor of China, when he ruled in the 3rd Century BCE. This prideful horse measures 5 in. long and 4 1/4 in.tall and is 1 1/2 in. in width, and seems to be made of some sort of stone. This impressive bird commands attention, with his outspread wings. He measures almost 6 in. high and has a giant wingspan of 11 1/2 in. He is jet black and is made from a sort of hard resin material. He would look good on a desk, mantle, bookshelf or anywhere in the house or office. He is in great shape and is soaring high in our ~Merry Menagerie~ Enjoy!

This asian hand carved ivory couple do everything together, even the housework. They both carry a cleaning implement. The man holds a rake and the woman a broom. They are both wearing traditional dress. These figures are engraved on the bottom with the artist's mark in chinese characters. The man stands at almost 4 in. and the woman at a little over 3 in.(Demure). They are in near perfect condition except for the fact that the Mrs. has a hairline crack to her sleeve area. This lovely hand carved ivory figurine is stunning and so detailed. There is an entricately carved fish held in his hands. He is in a traditional sitting position and measures 2 1/2 in. tall and 2 in. at widest point.This piece is in superb condition. He would make a lovely accent piece to any collection of miniatures, netsukes, oriental, japanese or chinese figures.

This handsome colonial period gentleman is on his way from the vineyards with a bounty of fresh grapes, that will soon become tasty wine. He stands about 16 1/2 in. tall and 5 1/4in. at the widest point. This porcelain figurine is hand painted with vibrant greens, corals and wine colors, with gold swirls at the bottom. He is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, paint is 99.9% good, except for a minute amount of paint missing from his hat, which is hardly noticeable at all.
