It has a very unusual 6 prong setting, customary to the period, made around the turn of the century. It measures almost 1 1/2 in. and is in excellent condition. Very Nice! This is another piece of Estate Jewelry! This time it is a wonderfully large pendant (for those women who like to make a statement) that is reversible. One side has a pansy and the other side is a floral motif, all done in burnished brass. It measures 2 3/4 in. all the way around. WOW! WOW! WOW! What else can be said about this necklace. This is another of my Estate Jewelry pieces, and would be classified as fine costume jewelry. What can I call it, Pearl of the Sea? It features a large clam shell with a large pearl in the center, bordered on both sides by a mystic dolphin. It was made in West Germany and is signed by the designer. This is a wonderful set by renown jewelry designer Brenda Schoenfeld. It includes a pair of earrings and a medallion linked bracelet all done in sterling silver. The bracelet measures 8 in. and each of the medallions measure 7/8 in. The earrings are for pierced ears. The design is in eight spheres piled atop of each other. This lion is proud, majestic, and in action. He measures 1 1/4 in. X 2 in. and is in perfect condition. He is from about the 30's or 40's and is unmarked. The material seems to be bronze, but it could also be brass. This lion is roaring proudly in our ~Merry Menagerie~ Enjoy!
