Carved ivory couple figurines signed

This asian hand carved ivory couple do everything together, even the housework. They both carry a cleaning implement. The man holds a rake and the woman a broom. They are both wearing traditional dress. These figures are engraved on the bottom with the artist's mark in chinese characters. The man stands at almost 4 in. and the woman at a little over 3 in.(Demure). They are in near perfect condition except for the fact that the Mrs. has a hairline crack to her sleeve area.
