This is a lovely example of a victorian calling card case. It has a lovely floral repousse finish with very nice detailing. There is a mono that looks like LMS or RMS(Titanic, No doubt things of this sort were carried by a number of passengers on that fateful voyage.) This one measures 3 1/4in.x 2 3/8in. On the inside there is a place for calling cards, photo, and nickels and dimes. It is marked sterling in two places on the inside with a W inside of an oval. There is also a blank oval on the back great for your own initials. There is a little rust to the card hinge, but it opens and closes well. There are a few little dings expected with the age.
