Adams Old English Sports over sized tea cup

This is a very large tea or coffee cup. It was made by Adams of England, established in 1657. This cup has a lively transferware scene of two roosters in a match to the death. In the back of the picture are the rules and regulations of the game. The picture is bordered by black transferware instruments. It measures almost 4 1/2 in. at the rim and is almost the same in height. It has one old hairline crack that does not prevent it from holding liquid or from being very nice to look at. These fighting cocks are part of our ~Merry Menagerie~
