This is a spectacular cook book. It is by the Better Homes and Gardens and published in 1978 by the Meredith Corporation, of Des Moines, Iowa. This issue is the seventh printing. It tells the exciting story of food in American life featuring 705 recipes from our rich history, including colonial, ethnic, and modern favorites among lots of other nationality recipes. It has very lovely and vibrant color pictures and bits of historical tidbits through out the book. It is in excellent condition and has a leather like dust jacket that it slips into for easy storage.
