Victorian German Art Nouveau Dolphin & Pearl Necklace

WOW! WOW! WOW! What else can be said about this necklace. This is another of my Estate Jewelry pieces, and would be classified as fine costume jewelry. What can I call it, Pearl of the Sea? It features a large clam shell with a large pearl in the center, bordered on both sides by a mystic dolphin. It was made in West Germany and is signed by the designer. The signature appears to be Joseff, but I am not sure. It measures 16 in. and the shell measures 3 in. It is made of brass and was constructed around the turn of the century. Would look lovely in every jewel chest. ~Enjoy!
