Antique Lithograph on black ground w/ reverse painting

This is a very captivating piece of art, and has a Neo Classical feel about it. It just exudes richness. The subject of the piece is a young boy with rosy cheeks playing the harp and holding a mirror(how vain), behind him is his pet peacock. The subject is done in litho, while the details were done in gold with the reverse painting on glass technique. This piece measures 10 1/2 in. X 10 1/2 in. It has a luscious black satin like frame, with a gold interior trim. Due to the age on this the frame has over time received a few very small nicks. Overall this piece has survived very well. ~Enjoy!
