Mulberry Transferware "Thebes" Greek Key Motif

This lovely old platter has a wonderful mulberry transferware pattern in the name Thebes. It features a greek key border with grecian urns and one of them features greek women. This platter measures about 15 1/2 in., and is marked on the back with a belt loop and the initials L. S. & B. There are a few minor firing flaws, and it sits a little off kelter, but it still is a wonderful piece and will serve all your serving and decorating needs. It has no cracks, chips or breaks. It reminds me of something Hercules may have eaten from. ~Enjoy!
