Kensington Brown Transferware Shakespear Sonnets Plate

These sweet little brown transferware plates measure 8 in. and have a slightly scalloped edge. The scene is of a romantic cottage in the woods. They are by the Kensington Company or England and are of the series Shakespear Sonnets, and are marked on the back (see enlargement).
