Pair of Art Nouveau Chalk Nudes Women In Repousse

Here we have a very lovely pair of Art Nouveau Chalkware nude figurines, with floral accents in vibrant victorian colors. The pair stands at 8 1/2 in. high and 5 in. wide, the lines and curves on the women are very graceful, and they are done in relief that give them a repousse quality. Due to their age and material there is minor paint loss, which can be seen from the photos. There are no chips, breaks or cracks on either two of the pair. There is an artist signature on the back, which I cannot make out(see enlargement 5). They are free standing which also gives them the effect of bookends. Circa late 1800's to early 1900's. ~Enjoy!
