Victorian Pyrography Canon City Souvenir Trinket Box

This wonderful old souvenir box is from Canon City, Colorado. It is done with the pyrography style, where the design is burned into the wood using a hot metal rod. It features a colored rose on the front with the city and state of origin. It measures 4 1/2 in. long, 4 1/4 in. wide and 2 1/4 in. tall. On the inside lid there is a star with a red felt lined area for your little trinkets. This lidded box has all its original hardware and is in wonderful condition for the age. Circa 1930's. ~Enjoy!
