"Scouting for Boys" by Baden-Powell. There is no publishing date in the book, but from my research I would say maybe the late 40's to 50's. This is the scout brotherhood edition. This edition is based on the popular "World Brotherhood Edition" edited by William Hillcourt of the Boy Scouts of America for international use.
