This Old elegant German Silver Plate piece has a 12-1/2" diameter and sits on three round silver legs. It has a brushed swirled satin finish and contrasting smooth finish. Original stickers on the bottom that contains numbers 6553. Made in Germany by WMF (Wuerttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik AG, Geislingen).

The Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. was founded in 1892 and incorporated, July 1,1904 through 1925. In 1926 it became Onieda Community Ltd. and moved to Oneida, New York.
This is a beautiful Victorian Chaffing Dish.
