This is beautiful two-piece Fairy Lamp made by Fenton. It measures approximately 6" tall x 3" wide and is two pieces, top and bottom. It has patterns of diamonds and fans with a polished top. It is made of a four-part mold.
Fairy Lamps held wax candles, covered with protective glass to offer a safer alternative to oil lamps in the Victorian Era.
Fenton glass is pressed by hand and hand finished, giving it higher quality and more precision than other producers of similar works. Glass would be poured into a mold and then removed, but it was finished with hand tools to give it the crisp detail for which it is known. This technique also allowed for custom features like elongated vases, crimped edges, rolls, and so on. EXCELLENT CONDITION
