VERY OLD Collectible teapot. Just beautiful.
From an Estate of a well traveled older couple.
PATTERN: Koi Fish with Frog on Lilly Pad
ITEM: Teapot
COLOR: Copper Brown Color
MANUFACTURER: Marked impression of Japanese Characters on the bottom of the pot and another stamp on the inside of the lid.
MEASUREMENT: 5-1/4” Tall X 6” Long X 3” Wide
CONDITION: Very Good, No Damage. No Discoloration Small Shallow Chip as indicated on the picture
SPECIAL NOTES: Fabulously Detailed, the fish scales, the whiskers on the fish the eyes on the fish and frog, the feet on the frog. Good Condition, No cracks or discoloration. Very Nice Collectible.
It is rough and earthy smelling on the inside. I would not use it as a teapot, but Great and beautiful Collectible. Very OLD.
