ITEM: German Smoker Smokers, or smoking men, are incense burners. They open to allow an incense cone to be placed inside, letting the smoke waft into the air.
COLOR: Wood
MANUFACTURER: Not Marked but has a cord attached to his right hand where a sticker hung at one time They have all been kept in a curio behind glass for about 25 years.
MEASUREMENT: 9” Tall
CONDITION: Excellent, No Damage. Free of Chips, the paint on his chest is crackled.
SPECIAL NOTES: I will be listing family collection of German Smokers, Nutcrackers and Village buildings. These were bought by my Mother-in-law while she and my father-in-law were stationed in Germany in the late 1970’s to the early 1980’s.
She loved these little guys and now that she is gone they need good homes that hopefully will love them as much as she did.
They were avid travelers in the military all their lives and brought home more than my children wish to inherit. So I will be listing many things they brought back from all over the world with the hopes that I can find good home for all.
He has an AAFES sticker on the bottom with the '85 date and sold originally for $18.50
