Very nice Scalloped Tape pattern oval bread plate, the maker of this pattern is unknown although the pattern is c. 1880s according to Reilly and Jenks. 12 3/4" long, 9 1/4 wide and 1 3/4" high. The mold seam on this plate runs around the outer edge, there is mold roughness along this seam, a few tiny fleabites and two 1/4" chips or flakes. Not unusual on a piece this old, and it still displays nicely, but less than book price due to the slight damage. The line visible in the photo ...click for details

The Fortuna pattern was produced by the J.B. Higbee Glass Co. from 1910-1914, and later by New Martinsville. This is a Higbee piece as evidenced by the bee mark in the bowl of the compote, which New Martinsville pieces did not have. 5" in diameter and 4 3/4" tall, this compote has no damage, although there is a 1/2" long thin ridge of mold roughness on the base of the stem.

Beautiful Duncan and Miller Sandwich pattern cake stand, 14 1/4" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall. Duncan and Miller produced this pattern from 1924-1955 as their #41. No chips or nicks, there are a few extremely light utensil marks. My wife pointed out to me the nice thing about a cakestand like this one is that you can still see the pattern even with a cake on it, unlike smaller diameter pieces. Very nice pair of L.E. Smith Romanesque pattern amber candleholders, manufactured in the early 1930s. There is a great deal of mold roughness on this set, encountered sometimes with machine-made depression glass as molds became worn. Most of it is present on the ring where the candle sits in the holder, and on the inner and outer edge of the bottom or foot of the candleholders. Excellent condition Medallion Sunburst cake stand. This pattern was named Banquet by the original manufacturer, Bryce, Higbee and Co., and was produced from 1896-1905. No nicks or chips, there are a few utensil marks on the plate surface but overall this piece has beautiful clarity and the pattern sparkles. 9 1/2" in diameter and 4" high.

Flawless condition 4" tall Cut Log wine. The original Bryce, Higbee and Company name for this pattern was Ethol, it is also known as Cat's Eye and Block. Bryce produced the pattern c. 1889 and Westmoreland Specialty Glass produced it c. 1896.

Good Luck 9" Cake Stand on high standard. Actual measurements are just a shade under 9" in diameter and 6 5/8" tall. This intricate and beautiful pattern is also known as Horseshoe, Prayer Mat or Prayer Rug. It was produced by Adams and Co. or Pittsburgh c. 1881. Condition is excellent with no nicks or chips, there are surface knife scratches from being used as it was intended.

Frosted Circle or Horn of Plenty 9 1/2" Cake Stand, this pattern was produced by both Bryce Bros. in 1876 and U.S. Glass after 1891. This cake salver measures 6 5/8" tall and 9 3/8" in diameter. Condition is excellent with no nicks or chips, although it does have light surface scratches from years of its intended use.
