Beautiful Duncan and Miller Sandwich pattern cake stand, 14 1/4" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall. Duncan and Miller produced this pattern from 1924-1955 as their #41. No chips or nicks, there are a few extremely light utensil marks. My wife pointed out to me the nice thing about a cakestand like this one is that you can still see the pattern even with a cake on it, unlike smaller diameter pieces. Very nice pair of L.E. Smith Romanesque pattern amber candleholders, manufactured in the early 1930s. There is a great deal of mold roughness on this set, encountered sometimes with machine-made depression glass as molds became worn. Most of it is present on the ring where the candle sits in the holder, and on the inner and outer edge of the bottom or foot of the candleholders.
