This is a beautiful hand thrown pottery mug with brown and tan art glazes, and south western markings and medallion. It is signed by the artist, but I can't make out the name. It is masterfully made. It measures 4.25 inches tall, and 3 inches across. It is in very good used condition with the exception that the edge of the medallion has a small piece chipped off, but it is not very noticeable. This is being sold as a decorative item because I do not know the glaze composition that were used.

This is a lovely piece of art glazed hand thrown pottery, wheel turned. It looks like it is either a oil lamp with the insert missing, or a squatty vase. It would work well for either. It is a brown stone clay with a blue to gray art glaze dripped down from the top. It measures 2.25 inches high, and 5.25 inches across the bottom. It is unmarked, and in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, and no crazing that I can see. I do not know the age or maker, it is an auction item.
