This is a matching set of 4 Chocolate By The Bald Man Max Brenner Hugmugs. They have a cool ergonomic shape that you put your hands around on a cold day to warm them up with steaming cup of hot chocolate. They measure 2 and 7/8 inches tall and 3.5 by 4.25 inches across, and are really egg shaped. They are in good used condition, no cracks, no chips, but with just a very small amount of crazing to the glaze.
This is 3 rare vintage miniature Morton Pottery bisque swirl painted vases, or urns. The are matte what looks like oil painted on the outside, and glazed white on the inside so that they can hold water. These pieces measure 3 and 7/8 inches tall. The red one is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, the green one has a fine hairline, in fact so fine it might be crazing, but I am not sure, so I list it as having a hairline crack...
This is a gorgeous hand crafted art glaze square art glaze vase made in Vietnam. It has applied glaze in turquoise blue and black to brown mottled metallic glazes. It measures 6.25 inches tall, and 4 inches square across the bottom. It still has part of the original label Hand Crafted in Vietnam.
This is a vintage semi-translucent caramel colored tiki vase or mug that I believe was made by Orchids of Hawaii Japan in the 1960s. However it is unmarked so I am not sure. It is 5 inches tall, and 2.75 inches across. It is in very good used condition, no cracks, no chips, and I don't see any crazing. It is a nice heavy thick pottery piece, so it is well made.
This is a vintage circa 1960 to 1970 Orchids of Hawaii R 71 Japan tiki vase or tumbler mug. It has a rich semi-translucent caramel or amber glaze. This tiki is in good shape, it does have a very fine short hairline crack on the upper rim, but it is under the glaze, so it is sealed. It has a little fine age glaze crazing as well. This would make a great item for a floral arrangement. It is marked on the bottom. It measures 5 and 7/8 inches tall, 2 and 3/8 inches across the rim.
This is a wonderful rare pattern Buchan Portobello Scotland 256/5 Sutherland M6-268 matching vinegar and oil cruet set with pale gray glaze and the other colors are applied glaze as well. They are marked as above on the bottom. They have the original cork and pottery stoppers, and measure 5.25 inches tall, and 3 inches across the middle. They are in very good used condition, no chips, no cracks, and no crazing. These are really wonderful because you can't find this pattern anywhere. Circa 1950
This is a beautiful hand thrown pottery mug with brown and tan art glazes, and south western markings and medallion. It is signed by the artist, but I can't make out the name. It is masterfully made. It measures 4.25 inches tall, and 3 inches across. It is in very good used condition with the exception that the edge of the medallion has a small piece chipped off, but it is not very noticeable. This is being sold as a decorative item because I do not know the glaze composition that were used.
This is a lovely piece of art glazed hand thrown pottery, wheel turned. It looks like it is either a oil lamp with the insert missing, or a squatty vase. It would work well for either. It is a brown stone clay with a blue to gray art glaze dripped down from the top. It measures 2.25 inches high, and 5.25 inches across the bottom. It is unmarked, and in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, and no crazing that I can see. I do not know the age or maker, it is an auction item.
This is a beautiful rare Dryden Pottery Hot Springs Arkansas piece done from a Van Briggle mold piece. It is circa 1950s. This figural horn cornucopia piece is a brown art glaze with drips and color tone variations. This is a very hard to find piece. It measures 5 inches high, and 9 inches long. It is in very good used condition, no chips, no cracks, and very little or no crazing. It does have the point end a bit darkened, with some bubble, from the kiln firing at production.
This is a lovely rare vintage open sugar and cream set that looks like a melon shape. I have searched for months to find this set anywhere listed with no success. They are approx. 2 inches over all. The glaze is pink over the entire piece and then blue glaze is applied to the top and it runs down the sides. The glaze color looks like Hull pottery, but I do not know. The creamer is marked AA01 on the bottom...
This is a vintage retro avocado green cream pitcher with raised fruits and vegetables on the surface. It measures 3 inches tall, and 4.5 from handle to spout. It is in good used condition, no cracks, no chips, but it does have fine age glaze crazing throughout. I believe this to be about circa 1950s. Is marked Japan on the bottom.
This is a lovely cottage style vintage Japan brown glazed floral enameled teapot. It measures 4.5 inches high, and 9.5 inches handle to spout. It has raised enamel floral motifs in coral, yellow, blue, pink, green, and gold gilt accents. The lid is pottery and glazed black. This teapot is used and has an extremely fine hairline crack to the top of the handle, in fact it is so fine I thought it was crazing. It does have some wear to the enameling, but mostly still good and bright...
