This is a wonderfully done piece of porcelain marked made in occupied Japan in red, circa 1946 to 1952. This little porcelain figurine has an elegant lady in all her high society regalia. Beautifully hand painted in shades of blue, pink, rust, and green with gold gilding. It measures 4 and 1/8 inches tall. This piece does have a repair around her middle, but it is so well done I didn't see it until I used a magnifier, no crazing that I can see.

This is the most colossal 3 piece porcelain vase or urn I've ever seen. It is approx. 22 inches tall over-all. The widest part across the middle is about 8 inches across. This is a wonderful little quality porcelain Gekkeikan Finest Sake set. It has a bottle and 2 cups, all are marked made in Japan. The bottle is 5 inches high and the cups 1 and 3/8 inches high and 2 inches across the top rim. They are all in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks and no crazing.

It has a pretty butterflies and Japanese writing. It is marked on the bottom. It measures 7.25 inches high, and 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition. I do not know the age of this jar, but is pretty modern.

This is a lovely matching hand painted bowl and spoon with the lithophane snowflake pattern (made by putting rice grains in the porcelain and then firing them in the kiln, the rice burns away and leaves decorative holes that are filled with glaze). This is a beautiful signed Japanese Arita porcelain plate. I was told it was hand painted in the Imari blue and white style. It has brocade patterns around the outside and a floral motif in the center with peonies, mums, and cherry blossoms. The signature on the bottom says Ryuuhou Dragon Peak and, I am not sure of the age, but I was told by someone on the Asian Art forum it was wonderful quality and they had seen some similar that were pre-1940s...
