This is a shaker with a scene from Japan in shades of red, green, teal, and pink. It rather large holes in the top and the cork is inside. It is not real well done, but would make a great decorator item. It measures 2.75 inches tall and 1.75 inches across the base. The holes are large enough to be a sugar shaker, or course pepper. I do not know the age or maker, it is unmarked, although a bit of wear to the paint it is in good condition, no chips, and no cracks.
This is a really beautiful piece of quality porcelain. It looks like a Chinese man with a hat and pigtail and a parrot or cockatoo on his arm. The colors are cobalt blue and gold gilding on snow white porcelain. The face is skillfully shaded skin tones. This is 7.5 inches tall and in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, even all the fingers are perfect. The blue flowers look like they have just a bit of the flo blue effect. I don't know the age, it is an auction piece. It is unmarked.
This is a beautiful cloisonne plate with flying blue birds, red peonies, and pink cherry blossom flowering trees. The background it cobalt blue with aqua wave patterns around the edge. The back is all cobalt blue. This plate measures 7.25 inches across, and is in excellent condition, no pieces are missing or cracked. I believe this is from about 1970 to 1980.
This is a really pretty cobalt blue and white porcelain lidded jar. It has places where handles used to be, and a animal, maybe a lion or a lamb for the lid handle. It has fern scrolls, floral designs, and what looks like a greek key sort of design around both the lid and neck of the pot. It measures 8.25 inches tall, and 7.25 inches across the top. It is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, with just a surface glaze rub to the point of one of the handle holders...
This is a very elegant porcelain or fine china Japanese/Chinese or Asian rice bowl with pretty stylized lines radiating out from the base. It measures 2.25 inches high and 4.5 inches across the top rim. It does have a hairline crack as shown in the photo. I do not know the age but it look vintage.
This is a beautiful hand painted box from Kashmir, India. It is made out of paper mache' and highly lacquered or glazed for strength. It has red, blue, purple, white and green floral patterns and gold gilding with black accents. It measures 2.25 inches high and 4.75 by 3.5 inches across. It is in excellent condition, just a few surface scratches on the bottom of box, the rest very clean. I do not know the age or maker. It is marked hand made in Kashmir India.
This is a lovely rice or tea bowl that is hand painted in shades of red, pink, green, and blue on a yellow background. It is unmarked and measures 2 and 1/8 inches high and 4.5 inches in diameter. It is in great condition. I do not know the age or the maker, I also do not know if it is Japanese or Chinese.
This is a really sweet little hand painted porcelain vase with black designs that look dragonflies, and green accents. It does also have a red makers mark on the side. It measures 3 and 7/8 inches high and 1.75 inches across the widest part. It is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, with just the smallest amount of glaze crazing. This is an auction piece. I don't know the age or maker.
This is a very well made chalkware figurine of an Asian woman minstrel, playing a guitar. This lady appears to be either from Japan, or China, and looks probably circa 1940s to 1950s. She is mostly black, with gold accents, and a very nicely detailed face. She is missing very little of her paint, and is of much better quality than most examples I have seen. She measures 7.25 inches tall and 2 and 7/8 inches across the base.
This is a beautiful signed hand painted sake bottle or vase. It is made of fine porcelain and is either Japanese or Chinese, not sure which, featuring mountains, trees, water, birds and sanpans that wrap around the bottle. It measures 5.75 inches high and 2 and 3/8 inches across. It is in excellent condition, no chips and no cracks. It is signed but I don't know what it says and I have no idea of the age.
This is a really beautiful large Japanese serving bowl with a beautiful floral centerpiece in red, orange, yellow, blue, peach, periwinkle, green, and pink. It looks like a transfer, then there is very ornate banding in blue, red and gold in brocade or geometric designs, with heavy 22KT gold gilding.
I did a lot of research and as near as I can find out the marks says Kozan Kiln in Kanji characters. I was told it was most likely modern Kutani porcelain in the Satsuma-Yaki style...
This is a beautiful bight orange bowl with textured detail of a fire breathing dragon. It has black airbrushed swirls and gold gilding. It is marked made in Japan. It measures 1.5 inches high and 7.25 inches across. It is in very good condition, no cracks, no chips and very little wear to the paint or 22KT gilding.
