This is the most colossal 3 piece porcelain vase or urn I've ever seen. It is approx. 22 inches tall over-all. The widest part across the middle is about 8 inches across. It looks Asian, maybe Japanese or Chinese, but I am not sure about that. This piece has raised textured floral sprays, that look like cherry blossoms and maybe lotus or waterlilies, also iris and bamboo images. They all look hand painted. This is a beautiful signed Japanese Arita porcelain plate. I was told it was hand painted in the Imari blue and white style. It has brocade patterns around the outside and a floral motif in the center with peonies, mums, and cherry blossoms. The signature on the bottom says Ryuuhou Dragon Peak and, I am not sure of the age, but I was told by someone on the Asian Art forum it was wonderful quality and they had seen some similar that were pre-1940s...

This is a antique circa 1900 Kyo-Satsuma enameled ginger jar. It has lovely Japanese figures and imari type decorations, which are raised and textured by a process called cream paste that is then enameled. This jar is hand painted and has fabulous colors of red, black, grey, blue, white and bright gold gilding. It think it is made out of porcelain, but it may be pottery. It does not have the lid. It measures 4 inches high and 3.5 inches across...

This is a really beautiful large Japanese serving bowl with a beautiful floral centerpiece in red, orange, yellow, blue, peach, periwinkle, green, and pink. It looks like a transfer, then there is very ornate banding in blue, red and gold in brocade or geometric designs, with heavy 22KT gold gilding. I did a lot of research and as near as I can find out the marks says Kozan Kiln in Kanji characters. I was told it was most likely modern Kutani porcelain in the Satsuma-Yaki style...

These two beautiful Japanese porcelain glasses or cups are matching and have lids or covers. They have lovely fan designs with enameled flowers that look like daisies, heavy gold gilding. They also have branches of cherry blossoms and Japanese writing or script on the inside of the cup and on the lid. The mark on the bottoms says Ku Tani Tou San and is the mark of the "New" Kiln of Tozan Studios that was rebuilt in 1920 near Kyoto, Japan...

This is a wonderful blue, red, white floral vase design, and heavy gold gilded Japanese plate in the imari style made by "Ko San Yo" or Kosan / Kozan Kiln between circa 1960 and 1990. The original import lable OMC Japan is still on the bottom. This company imported excellent quality porcelain during that period. This plate measures 7.5 inches across, and is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, and no visible signs of wear...

This is a beautiful Nippon Noritake Morimura handpainted landscape dish in sunset shades with a central accent of a tree by the waters edge. It has openwork handles, raised relieve accents on the rim and gold gilding as well. It is marked Noritake with the capital M for Morimura and hand painted made in Japan. Also the number 122. It measures 1 and 5/8 inches high and 6.5 inches across...

This is a beautiful little nappy dish made of porcelain by Nippon Noritake Morimura of Japan. It is marked. It has a lovely sunset scene with as white swan and tree hanging out over the water. It is hand painted and has raised enameled accents to the handle in brown, it also has the number 106 on the bottom along with the logo. It is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks and very little signs of wear. It has one small mark to the paint on the inside...

This is for a fantastic set of 5 vintage teacups that are either Japanese or Chinese. The have a grey to tan background and what looks like brown transfers. They are very rustic, very much like peasant quality. The really cool factory defects, some crazing and a few chips. The pottery looks kinda of coarse under the glaze. This is a beautiful porcelain ginger jar with the lid in the lotus design by the Toscany Collection of Japan. It has elegant long lotus stems, and white blossoms tinged pink. It has a pretty butterflies and Japanese writing. It is marked on the bottom. It measures 7.25 inches high, and 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition. I do not know the age of this jar, but is pretty modern.

This is a really beautiful set of rice or serving bowls from Kafuh Japan in a pretty pastel seafoam green with pretty white and green floral sprays. It has textured art glazes that give depth. Each is 1 and 5/8 inches high and 4.25 inches in diameter. They are all in excellent condition and in the original box. I do know know the age, they are an auction item. The box is marked Kafuh Japan. The label inside the box says Kafuh Blue Moon.

This is for a wonderful black and red lacquered serving tray measuring 13 inches across. It has beautiful flowers and grasses and stylized lines and diamonds shapes with gold gilding. It is in very good used condition. Just a small amount of wear to the gilding. No chips and no cracks. It feels light like maybe paper mache or some light wood. But it is unmarked so I don't know for sure. It is an auction piece so I don't now the age or origin, but it looks Asian in design.
