occupied Japan Whimsical Elephant Salt and Pepper

This is an adorable little set of vintage circa 1946 to 1952 elephant salt and pepper shakers. The are marked occupied Japan in blue on the bottom and have the original corks. These little cuties are 2.75 inches high. The don't have any chips, no cracks but do have fine age glaze crazing over the surface. The are hand painted little blue eyes and long eyelashes. One has a green spot on it's tummy and foot where someone was probably painting the room and got it on him. It would probably come off with a bit of thinner or something safe, but I was afraid to mess with it.
