Exquisite Large Crystal Cut Glass Covered Compote

This is a very heavy large covered, footed crystal compote that I believe was made in W.Germany between 1950 and 1970 judging by similar patterns. It has rose with cut glass petals and very deeply cut starburst and geometric designs. It measures a stately 13.5 inches high and 5.75 inches across the widest part of the middle. This is a very heavy piece of 24 percent lead crystal that rings nicely. It is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks and no scratches that I can see. It is bright and clear. This is a very stately elegant piece that will make a real accent in any room.
