This is an old 1915 copy of "The American Magazine for October 1915. It is missing the cover and the front page is a bit torn as are the the edges, and maybe a few pages are missing off the back, I can't tell for sure, however inside are great illustrations for framing and wonderful advertising pieces too. It has a wonderful article by Jerome D. Travers about golfers like Frances Ouimet, Harold Hilton, Walter J. Travis, John Ball, Harry Varden, and Chuck Evans, including great pictures of their swings. Fabulous images of brides, and woman canning produce, Stories of romance, Ads for Fairy Soap, Aeolian Phonographs and Vocalion, Johnson's Prepared Wax, Motts Plumbing, Denby Trucks, American Telephone and Telegraph Company, Fatima Turkish Blend Cigarettes, Edison Lamp Works, Sherwin-Williams Paints, Marlin Repeating Rifles and Shotguns, Listerine, 1847 Rogers Bros., Big Ben Clocks, Resinol Soap, Anheuser-Busch's Malt-Nutrine Liquid Food Tonic, Rizla + Famous Cigarette Papers, and much more. one of the adds in the center of the book has been cut out. However there are some great things here to frame or decoupage on a table or box.
