2 Ornate Kutani Tozan Porcelain Covered Cups or Glasses
$40.00 plus shipping
These two beautiful Japanese porcelain glasses or cups are matching and have lids or covers. They have lovely fan designs with enameled flowers that look like daisies, heavy gold gilding. They also have branches of cherry blossoms and Japanese writing or script on the inside of the cup and on the lid. The mark on the bottoms says Ku Tani Tou San and is the mark of the "New" Kiln of Tozan Studios that was rebuilt in 1920 near Kyoto, Japan. These beautiful glasses are creamy white with crackle throughout. I believe they are vintage, but can't find out the exact age, they are auction items. The cup measures 4 inches high with the lid on, and 2.5 inches across the lid. Both glasses are in very good condition, but one of the lids have been repaired as seen in the photo.
