Fabulous Occupied Japan Asian Man Musician Figurine

This is a wonderful vintage circa 1945 to 1952 occupied Japan figurine of an Asian man with a traditional violin or fiddle, probably a erhu of the "hugin" family of instruments. This is a very nicely painted porcelain piece in shades of burnt sugar, burgundy, and navy. He has traditional clothes and I think he is Chinese, but he could be Japanese. He has a little pillbox hat and long braid, and the side buttoning shirt. He measures 6.75 inches tall and is marked made in occupied Japan on the bottom in red. He is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks and very little wear to the paint. This piece is one of the better painted pieces I've seen.
