Pretty Stangl Potter Garden Flower Water Pitcher

This is a pretty circa 1942 to 1957, water pitcher in the Garden Flower, or sunflower design by Stangl Pottery on Trenton, New Jersey. It is red clay painted white, or cream color and decorated with yellow, gold, rust, brown and green colors and then glazed throughout. It is marked on the bottom. It measures 6.5 inches tall 9.25 inches handle to spout. It does have a chip on the spout that was repainted, but is still irregular, also there is some discoloration down the side under the spout and into the side. This would still make a nice accent piece for the Stangl or sunflower collector.
