Fabulous Heavy Hand Thrown Pottery Vase/ Planter

This is a very unusual piece of handthrown, and handcrafted pottery, that is very thick and heavy. It has the initials L.W. on the bottom, has a lovely blue, white, gray, and tan brushed stroke banded glaze to it, with a dark gray or black stripe down the side. It measures 4.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches across the base. It would make a great planter for a floral arrangement, or even a great pen/pencil holder. It is in very good condition, not cracks, no chips, and no crazing. I do not know the age or maker of this piece, it is an auction item.
