Antique Ivory Glass Hurricane Oil Lamp Risdon Mfg Co.

This is a really beautiful old hurricane oil lamp made from a ivory or cream colored glass that is semi-opaque sometimes called alacite. It has teadrop shaped accents around the side and the mechanism is marked Eagle, Risdon Mfg. Co. Danbury, CT made in USA. It is in very good condition. The movement still works but needs some cleaning and oiling for smooth carriage. It has the glass globe but I don't know if it is original or not. I got this at an auction and the globe was on it. I also don't know the age but it looks old. It measures 12 inches high and 5.75 inches across. This is a wonderful piece for that country cabin or for when the electricity goes out.
