1868 Thompson's Old Liverpool Ware Serving Platter

This is a wonderful vintage serving platter with pretty roses, anemones, forget-me-nots and scroll work on cream china by Thompson Pottery Company, Ohio in about 1938. It is marked 1868 Thompson's Old Liverpool Ware and the number 1735 on the bottom. It measures about 13.5 by 11 inches. It is an old used piece so it has a rub to one of the scroll designs on the inside and a bit of wear to the transfer, the bottom has a couple of rub marks that look like they happened during production, no chips and no cracks and no visible crazing. This would be a wonderful piece to hang on the wall in a country or Victorian home. Very beautiful white work around the edge.
