Beautiful Bronze Peasant or Pub Scene Plaque

This is a really pretty metal plaque that looks like bronze, however I don't know for sure. It has what looks like a Victorian pub or peasant scene. The people look like they are listening to some one tell a story, the many smoking a pipe and sitting on a crate with ducks inside. There is a clock on the wall and what looks like a German or Bavarian hat. It has some damage to the edge, a nail hole and bends on the corners and a tear at the top edge like it was removed from a piece of furniture. I have no idea of the origin or age, it is an auction piece. It measures 7.25 inches by 5.75 inches.
