This three-legged sterling sugar bowl is typically Irish and is a form that has been used since about 1730. This one was made about 1775. I cannot be more precise as, also typically Irish, it was hallmarked without the date letter.

Here is a small sterling carriage clock made about 1916 with a fitted case. Normally they are made of brass and are about 4" to 6" high, and the name derives from the fact that they were designed to be used in carriages, i.e. they were transportable. They were the first mobile clocks.
The movement is brass and is fitted in a sterling case.

A very elegant pair of sterling repousse gravy boats retailed by J.E Caldwell & Co., of Philadelphia and dated 1884. They have a graceful, 18th century form decorated with dense repousse-work, edged with a gadrooned rim. Each has a naturalistic handle and is supported on three shell feet.
There is an inscription on the base which reads:
J.A & B.M.L from Julia. W. Lewis May 17 1884.
They are in excellent condition which is amazing for their age. Their is no damage or repair.

Here is a complete set of 12 sterling dinner plates in the Acorn pattern, #642A. Each is fully marked with the hallmarks for the period 1919-1927, together with designer's mark for Johan Rohde. They have a hammered texture and are of good gauge.
Condition: Very good, just a few light usage scratches. No inscription. Original felt bags.
Dimensions: 11" diameter. Weight 704 gms/22.6 Troy oz each.

Here is a beautiful sterling overlay 3-handled vase in a light lime-green by Alvin. The overlay has a thick gauge and has an engraved floral design.
Marked along the foot with the Alvin logo, 999/1000 Fine, 350G, Patented.
Condition: Pristine. No chips, flakes, missing bits, scratches or monogram.
