According to Janet Drucker's book on Jensen, these servers are designated Pattern #72. They don't appear to have a name which should not do them any discredit as they are very elegant and graceful. They were evidently made for the British market as they both bear the British import marks for the year they were made. Early, pre-WWII, Jensen articles are becoming scarcer and acquiring an increasing premium on their price. Dimensions: Length 7", width 1.75" and 2.75".

A very pretty but sturdy sterling epergne comprising a tall vase as the body with three arms, each suspending a small basket. This is all sterling and not weighted. Do not confuse this epergne, where the weight is in the amount of sterling, with the cheaper variety with the weighted foot. This has been elegantly crafted with a heavy gauge of silver, fully hallmarked on every piece. Dimensions: Height 14", span across baskets 13". Weight 42 Troy oz.

This is a magnificent sterling epergne fashioned in the 18th century style, with a large removeable bowl flanked by two smaller removeable bowls supported by two arms which slot into the main structure. Though it may appear flimsy it is of a sturdy construction with cast legs and decorative swags. The amazing thing is the matching sterling plateau. Sterling plateaus are rare but a matched epergne and plateau is pretty unique. It is in extremely good condition. The only flaw I could detect was a ...click for details
