I have had numerous small mugs from the Georgian period but never one of this form, and never one that could be described as a child's mug.It has cute applied borders and an attractive cast handle. Never been inscribed. Visible construction seam by the handle and a turned base. It has some intriguing scratched figures on the base, some small but all very light, that probably pertain to the construction. The most prominent is: 914 = 5" 7 dw. I am not sure of the 914 but 5" 7 dw wou ...click for details
