Repousse Coin Silver Water Pitcher, by A.E.Warner, c.18

Although repousse decoration is more frequently associated with Kirk, Stieff and Schofield, among others, Warner was undoubtedly one of the exponents in popularizing the style. Nice graceful lines, fully repousse in the 'Baltimore style' but with the added feature of a wide splash of leaves at the base of the handle, pictured. Very good condition. Marked Warner, 11-2.
